What we collect

We keep the minimum needed to run Tippy:

• Account details — your email, display name, username, category, bio, and avatar.
• Tip records — the amount, note, and (if the supporter chose to share it) their name and email.
• Payout details — your bank name, account number, and the account holder's name, verified with your bank.
• A session cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking.

What we use it for

To run your tip page, process tips and payouts, email you sign-in links, and keep the platform safe from fraud. That's it — we don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make Tippy work, and only what each one needs: Monnify processes payments and bank transfers, Resend delivers our emails, and our hosting providers store the application and its database. Card details go directly to Monnify and are never stored by us.

Anonymous tips

When a supporter tips anonymously, their name is hidden from the creator everywhere in Tippy. The underlying payment record still exists, as payment regulations require.

How long we keep things

Your account data stays while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and personal details; records of settled payments are kept only as long as financial regulations require.

Your choices

You can update your profile and bank details from your dashboard, tip anonymously as a supporter, and ask us to export or delete your data at any time.
